It’s been a busy week and a half…mom’s been running us around the whole country! First Patagonia, then up to the northeast for Iguazu Falls and now we’re headed to Buenos Aires. We’re taking the super-cama service bus tonight, so it should be the poshest night of our trip so far.

~ We’re going to go to Machu Picchu, they’re going to take all our money ~ (A song I sung to Miss Alexa to keep her happy one day)
As many other travelers, Macuh Picchu was the culmination of our trip with Chris and Sue. Many would argue a trip to Peru is not complete [...]

We arrived in Arequipa on X morning, but not without a few troubles. The overnight bus had once again been difficult. All the buses from Nasca to Arequipa are overnight and they all originate in Lima. After our experience on the cheap bus, we went a few notches up and sprung for [...]

We would like to welcome the Fischer-Tkach family to South America! For those of you who aren’t in the loop, Chris and Sue were our cycling coaches at OSU for the past few years. Alexa is their adorable 19 month old girl.
They arrived Wednesday night and we have already begun our whirlwind two week tour [...]

Last week, we played tour guides for my Dad and Grandma. It was a blast to have them come visit and it gave us an excuse to go be tourists a bit.
From Dad and Grand…
They flew in to Quito late on Thursday night. We spent most of Friday around Quito. We went to the botanical [...]
