This trip started as a desire to explore more of South America after Liz participated in a Spanish program in Quito, Ecuador in 2004. After two years of planning, we left Ohio Ohio on June 28, 2006. We traveled and worked in Ecuador until December 18 when we crossed the border into Peru.
Our trip is planned one step at a time, as we´ve found that making plans in advance only leads to changing them. Maybe next we´ll go to Bolivia…or Argentina…or back to Ecuador. In any case, our goal is to make this trip last until 2008.
